Notion Coffee / Espresso

Espresso is a widget for Notion to quickly add tasks and boost your productivity. Notion Coffee will have everything you need to be productive in Notion.

Task Database

How to Use It

Three things you need to know.

1. The Template

Duplicate the current page in your own workspace, then sign up here to use the widget. You’ll need to give Notion Coffee write permission to this page in your workspace.

2. The Widget’s URL

After sign up, you will be given your own unique URL, paste it as an embed block in your private workspace. Currently, the widget only supports a database that contain (at least) the following properties: Task (title), Categories (multi-select), Due Date (date) and Priority (number).

3. The PIN Code

It’s the last 6 digits of the database id. To grab it:

Go to your duplicated page’s database,
Click the 3 dots next to “New” button,
“Copy link to block” (desktop) or “Copy link” (mobile)
Paste it somewhere and grab 6 digits left of '?v='.

Important Notice on Access to your Notion Workspace

Notion Coffee only uses permission to write in the database you share with it. This means Notion Coffee app will not be able to read any content from your Notion workspace, not even the pages you share with it or the tasks it will write in the database.
